Extreme Bhut Jolokia Mash

My endless quest to find the hottest palatable (not an extract) Chill jam / jelly continues with this little beauty I found in Gloucester whilst visiting the in-laws

Made by South Devon Chilli Farm, who seem to be getting in more and more places, which is a good thing, the ingredients are Fresh Habenero chillies, dried Jolokia chillies (8%), Salt, Cider vinegar, lemon juice. It was a bit pricey at £6.75 for a 140g jar, but its to be used sparingly so I suppose its all relative.

In just a few days I've eaten it with Sausages, Curry, and in a ham sandwich and I have to say its rather good. Gives a real chilli burn but you also get the fruit flavour coming through which makes you think its not as hot as it actually is. It reduced my father in law to tears, and if thats not worth £6.75 then I don't know what is!
