I am a big fan of chillis and all spicy food. I grow my own chillis, and have got some Dorset Naga and Naga Jolokia on the go this year and they are looking good.
A group of us have a chilli fest every year and award prizes to best chilli and hottest chilli, I have won both these coveted awards for the last two years!
UPDATE - I failed miserably in the 2010 Chilli cook-off, need to up my game this year.

Support Leeds Utd but lets not talk about that.

Been to two world cups (France 98 and Germany 06), and currently working on a plan to get to Brazil in 2014 but that will need some serious work with the missus before that becomes a reality!
Also enjoy gaming, used to be PS3 but got Xbox for Christmas so am now torn between the two. Skyrim, COD and sports on the Kinect are my current squeezes.

I too see this thread as a laugh, not a serious discussion into who should taste the superhots - I am certainly not the best qualified, Dr Death, Mr CT, Steve, Dido, and Davey are all much more qualified than me to taste - and will not wimp out so quickly!!
...........however I am more than happy to put my life on the line for the sake of entertainment and keeping you guys happy alongside other tasters of course!!
As Steve says let's keep it informal and fun, that's the best thing about The Chilli Temple!!

I think the cold weather in Leeds buggered them up as well. I'll stick to pots on my porch this year.

And this is the back of the MOJO jar - one of 3 'ultra jam' specials that chilli jam man does, he puts whole smoked bhut jolokia pods and flakes in the jar and then layers it with the jam (birds eye and bhut jolokia), its "carefully designed to grow more powerful and develop in time". I'm scared to open it, but if we do another live taste test, maybe I can be persuaded....!

Hi, and welcome to the Chilli Temple Blogs.

The built in editing software makes it simple to add pictures, videos, change layouts , backgrounds, etc so you can keep everyone updated with your chilli antics!
